Welcome to the Music is Life Blog Hop
We sang our ABC's as children loud and off key!
We rocked out in our bedrooms with our friends to our favorite tunes.
We slow danced awkwardly to that memorable ballet with the boy we crushed on. We walked down the isle in to the wedding march as we married the man of our dreams. We sang a sweet lullaby to our babies as we rocked them to sleep. We sing our favorite songs as we drive the kids to school, annoying them the whole way! Yes, music is Life! It's everywhere in our lives!
Join us as we celebrate the wonderful Life of Music!!

Our instruments have all been tuned...time for the show to begin!
For those who have children, you know that extracurricular activities can be rough. From picking up to dropping off...even to the funds it takes to keep them involved. Well, this activity is WORTH it! My daughter is a beast at playing that fabulous clarinet! Musically inclined, she can read, play, and sometimes write her own music! This picture shows her after the Christmas Concert of 2014 at her middle school.
Since it was at Christmas time...I decided to bling it out!! I used the Silhouette Cameo for the cuts and Michael's Recollections collection paper. The blue flower is from Mon Ami Gabby. The red rose is from my stash. "December" and the bling around the page is from Want to Scrap (I got that at the Duluth, GA Scrapbook Expo).

ReplyDeleteNice, really nice layout! The colors just pop! And how cute is that little circle up the top with just a shot of your daughter's head. I don't know why, but I just think that's so clever.
