I must say that last week was a bit much for me. On January 23 I lost my dear, wonderful, and loving father. He had been sick for some time...so he was called home. It seems unfair at this time, but you know what? I've come to realize that there are somethings that you just can't control in life. He's at peace and in a better place.
So...with that I was quite surprised when I got the "Congratulations..." email from
Swirlydoos.

This weeks challenge was to use foil tape and metal! "Ex-cuse me...use what?? I never even thought to use metals in scrapbooking let alone a card! But guess what...I adore this stuff!! Check out my entry for this week.
Me and the hubby at our wedding. I used chipboard (under the foil tape), flowers, spritz, acrylic flowers, pearl sprays, and a slew of other embellishements. This was a great project!

Here, I used a chipboard butterfly and covered it with foil tape. I embellished it with Wild Orchid crafts roses.
